At Townley Grammar School we hold a variety of different conferences and events, from conferences for school staff to art showcases. Below are some of the events we hold.

Townley Inspire Conference

The Townley Inspire Conference welcomes all, from trainee teachers to senior leaders, higher education representatives, educational researchers, charitable organisations, mental health campaigners and highly distinguished keynote speakers. Alongside the opportunity to engage with a range of inspirational ideas concerning wellbeing, leadership, character education and staff retention, Townley Inspire also encourages networking opportunities, facilitating innovative partnerships to guide the future development of education.

The Townley Inspire conference take place annually and welcome everyone from trainee teachers to senior leaders, associate staff, higher education representatives, educational researchers, charitable organisations, mental, health campaigners and highly distinguished keynote speakers. Alongside the opportunity to engage with a range of inspirational ideas such as wellbeing, EDI, leadership, character education, technology in education and workload, Townley Inspire also encourages networking opportunities, facilitating innovative partnerships to guide the sharing of best practice in education.

Year 7 Dance and Drama Showcase

The Year 7 Dance and Drama Showcase is an annual event that gives every student in their first year at Townley the chance to create a performance piece that incorporates both dance and drama.

Working in Form groups under the expert guidance of the school’s specialised Dance and Drama staff, students then bring their work together to present a showcase production for their family and friends.
