Teacher of Food Technology

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual for the position of Teacher of Food Technology to join our dynamic and high achieving DT & Engineering department. The successful candidate will:
- Inspire and challenge students in Food Technology (up to A Level).
- Be a highly effective classroom practitioner, recognising the importance of high-quality teaching and learning
- Drive excellence by enabling students of all abilities to make progress and achieve results in line with or exceeding their potential
- Collaborate effectively within a supportive, motivated and forward-thinking team of subject specialists.
- Bring innovation and creativity to teaching strategies, ensuring lessons are engaging, contemporary and intellectually rigorous.
- Demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence, building strong professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- Be a subject specialist, ensuring subject knowledge is excellent in order to inspire students and facilitate learning.
- Commit to the ethos and vision of the school, including a proactive participation in the wider school community and co-curricular programme.
