Data Protection: New Complaints Procedure (2026)

At Townley Grammar School we are committed to protecting your personal information. Following the implementation of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, the way individuals raise data protection concerns has changed. Individuals are now legally required to submit a complaint directly to the school before escalating any matter to the Information Commission. We will acknowledge all formal complaints within 30 days of receipt and conduct a thorough investigation without undue delay. If you remain dissatisfied with our final outcome, you then have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commission.
