Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 11 Expectations Evening - Thursday 1st October 2026

I am writing to invite you to the Year 11 Expectations Evening which will be held on Thursday 1st October 2026 at 5.30pm. Year 11 Expectations Evening is an important event planned to strengthen the existing partnership between the school and yourselves, ensuring students have a happy and successful Year 11. It is especially important in light of Internal Examinations taking place between Monday 16th November to Monday 23rd November with the GCSE Art Internal Examination taking place on Friday 6th November. The focus of the evening is supporting your child during this important academic year.

During the evening there will be time for you to meet with your child’s tutor who can talk about the role they play in supporting your child through Year 11. Following this there will be an opportunity to hear more about the support that is offered to students in Year 11 and to provide you with the latest information about opportunities available to them.

Please note that the event commences at 5.30pm and we ask that parents/ carers are seated in the allocated rooms by this time. The schedule is as follows:

• 5.30pm - 5.50pm: Tutors will meet with parents /carers.
• 6.00pm - 6.30pm: Talk in the Hall - focussing on academic and pastoral support.
• 6.30pm - 6.45pm: Opportunity to talk with members of the Senior Leadership Team

Please can we ask that you complete the form below to inform us whether or not you will be attending the event and the number of seats you will require. Your daughter is expected to attend wearing school uniform. In addition to confirming your attendance, if you have any questions that you would like us to answer on the day there is a space on the form for you to provide us with these. Please note that this link will close on Monday 28th September at 4pm.
