Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Student Survey 2026
Following our recent parent/ carer survey, we would like to inform you that a student survey has now been distributed to all students. This survey represents the next step in our ongoing commitment to ensure the voices of all stakeholders are heard to ensure we are providing the best possible educational provision.

Student voice is always a priority for us so we do hope that all students are able to share their views. We look forward to sharing the key headlines from the results with you in late June when we can highlight the successes we have to celebrate alongside any areas we intend to review based on students' feedback.

Reminder for Years 7, 8 and 9
Parents of students in Key Stage 3 have already been emailed to confirm that, now the GCSE and A Level exam season has started, students in the lower school will be permitted to wear their Townley PE kit to school on days when they have practical PE lessons only.

A reminder that only the official Townley PE kit may be worn; non-uniform items are not permitted. This arrangement applies only on days when PE lessons take place and should not be used for any other day or subject.

Please note that non- adherence to the uniform rules and above will result in the application of behaviour consequences.

Half term reminder
Just a gentle reminder that the half-term break will take place from Saturday 23rd May to Monday 1st June 2026.

While Monday 1st June is a designated staff training day and the school will remain closed to most, all scheduled GCSE and A Level examinations will proceed as planned. It is vital that students sitting exams on this day attend at their usual scheduled times.

Please ensure your child is clear on their specific exam timetable during this period to avoid any confusion.

We look forward to welcoming all other students back to lessons on Tuesday 2nd June.

Kind regards,

Miss S Totty
Headteacher
