Parent / Carer Weekly Communications
Friday 1st May 2026
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
Year 11
To all our Year 11 students, as you approach the start of your GCSE examinations, we want to wish you the very best of luck; your hard work and resilience have brought you to this point, and now is the time to show what you can do. It is perfectly natural to feel a flutter of nerves, but remember to stay calm and focused by taking it one paper at a time. If you ever feel overwhelmed, please do not hesitate to reach out - your teachers and the support staff are here specifically to help you navigate this period, so please just ask.
If you are coming into school for revision or study sessions on a day when you have no scheduled examination, you must sign in. Please remember that full school uniform is required for all examinations and anytime you are on the school site.
Your health is more important than any grade. Ensure you are taking regular breaks, staying hydrated, and getting plenty of rest. Balance your revision with moments of downtime to look after your mental wellbeing.
You’ve got this!
