Weekly Parent Comms Friday 12th September 2025

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
We are delighted to have welcomed back our whole school community and we extend a very warm welcome to our new students and their families.  We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for student success, and we look forward to building a great relationship with all of you.

Academy Day on Wednesday 17th September
A reminder that school will be closed to students next Wednesday.

Important - Road safety and Parking
The safety of our students is our highest priority. When dropping off or collecting children near the school please:

  • Drive slowly
  • Park considerately and legally – it has come to our attention that parents are parking on double yellow lines in the vicinity of the school – may we remind you that the Bexley Enforcement Team are in the area and fines will be issued for illegal parking.
  • Never double park or block driveways – please respect our neighbours by parking considerately and please refrain from using Upton Close at the back of the school as a drop off/turning circle.
  • Use designated pedestrian crossings
  • Ensure children exit the car on the pavement side

In the interest of student safety please reiterate to your child the following:

  • Use the designated Zebra crossing safely by paying attention to traffic and surroundings
  • Not crossing the road whilst listening to music
  • Making sure mobile phones and any other technology is not distracting from safe road crossing
  • Do not run across Zebra crossings or walk too close to the side of pavements.
  • Remember: Your careful driving protects not just your own child, but all children in our school community

Please stay safe, park considerately and with respect for pedestrians and local residents.
