Parent Communications Friday 6th June 2025

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Open Evening - Wednesday 2nd July 2025 - Early Finish and Late Start
We will be holding our annual Open Evening for Prospective Year 7 students on Wednesday 2nd July. To be able to ensure that we are ready for the evening we will have an early finish on this day - school will finish at 2.35pm. With a large proportion of the school community taking part and showcasing the school we will also have a late start on Thursday 3rd July. Students are to be in school for 10am when our am register will be taken. Please note that we will inform bus services of these changes.

Important reminder for Year 8 parents

What You Need to Know about Emojis

The attached guide breaks down some of the slang and symbols young people use online and explains how some could be masking real issues, from bullying and exclusion to harmful behaviours. With the handy cheat sheet and top tips, adults can keep pace with this ever-changing digital language.
