An excellent year for Townley with our best A level results yet. Our students have studied some of the most challenging A level subjects and secured places in the top universities.

We are extremely proud of all our Upper Sixth students whose results reflect the hard work and the commitment that each one has invested into their studies over the last two years. The A2 results reflect a three year upward trend as 72% of the cohort achieved A*-B with a record 37% attaining A*-A

Our highest performing students are Victoria Butterworth with 3A *and 1A who will be studying Physics at Exeter University and Natasha Welch who was awarded 3A* and has decided to study English Literature at Leeds University. Michael Omigie deserves a special mention as he has successfully secured a place at Cambridge University to study Chemical Engineering.
