Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Ramadan 2024
Ramadan Mubarak to all who are observing Ramadan this year.  As a school community, we extend our warm wishes and look forward to next week's student led assemblies explaining the meaning of Ramadan and its significance to the global Muslim community.

Year 8 HPV Vaccinations
The vaccination team will be in school on 8th May 2024 to carry out the Year 8 HPV vaccinations.  Please see the attached letter from the Immunisation Team for further information and the link to the consent form.

Kooth Webinars for Parents and Carers
In April, Kooth are running webinars specifically to help parents and carers support children sitting exams. This is a free session and can be booked using the links below.  The training is a 45 minute virtual session on how you can support your child to manage exam stress.

Careers and Futures Newsletter
Following a host of events last week to celebrate National Careers Week, please find attached our first Careers and Futures Newsletter which was authored and edited by our Career’s Prefects, Erin, Arthiha, Mashal and Diana. Please also see the Townley Bulletin for details of free careers webinars.

World Book Day
Well done to all the students who came in in their amazing and creative costumes to celebrate our love of stories.  We are continuing to collect book donations for the Children's Book Project until 20^th March and all good condition children's books are welcome and will go to a great cause. 

The project was featured on Heart Radio and their Instagram feed has all the updates.
