Parents/Carers & Students Weekly Communication

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Administering medication during school hours
Please note the procedures in place for students who require medication during school hours.  If your child needs to take any form of medication while at school, they should visit Mrs. Hall in the Student Hub to obtain a Medicine Permission Letter. This document is necessary for our records and outlines the details of the medication your child requires. Once you have completed the form, return it to Mrs. Hall along with the medication.

It is important to emphasise that, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines, students should not carry any medication themselves. This policy is in place to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all students.

Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is greatly appreciated, as it contributes to maintaining a secure and healthy environment for everyone at our school. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Hall, who will be more than happy to assist you.

Vehicle drop-offs
It has come to our attention that some students are exiting vehicles on the A2 slip road, posing a significant risk to their safety.

The A2 slip road is a high-traffic area, and allowing students to disembark from vehicles in this location poses potential dangers. Please ensure that you are utilising surrounding roads for students to exit your vehicle.

Finally, I leave you with the Townley Bulletin to read, engage with and enjoy.

Kind regards,

Miss S Totty

Senior Deputy Headteacher
