Dear Parents/Guardians of Students in Years 8 – 11

I hope you have all had an enjoyable summer holiday.  During the last six weeks major plumbing and electrical work has been taking place in school and, unfortunately, it will not be finished before the beginning of term.  I need to ensure that all the Health and Safety issues have been resolved before we can have everyone back in the school buildings.

Year 7 and 12 will return as stated in the newsletter on Tuesday 2nd September, Year 13 on the 3rd and they will be in school all week.

Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 will now start the new school year at 8.45am on Thursday 4th September.  They should return in school uniform with their equipment ready to start lessons that day.  Years 7, 9 and 12 will be having their individual photographs taken on the 5th September.

If you have any difficulties finding alternative childcare arrangements for next Wednesday then do telephone me between 3pm and 4pm on Monday 1st or before 9.30am on the 2nd.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused and I look forward to seeing your daughter next Thursday the 4th September at 8.45am.
