Year 7 - An introduction to Theatre with Rose Bruford

Year 7 classes are exploring aspects of theatre with practitioners from Rose Bruford in terms of sound, lighting, design and costume, performing and stage management.
Internally will be undertaking directing and writing classes overseen by teachers.

Year 8 - Upcycling Challenge

Year 8 will be staying in form groups and forming small creative companies in an upcycling challenge. They will be given a brief to create 7 items which will be judged in a Marketplace in the Hall after lunch.
Students get to vote for each others work for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and all work created will go on display in the 2006 Gallery.

Year 9 - Kudos and Shoe Design Workshop (Please note the year will be split in half and will swap over activities -outlined on the timetable)

Year 9 students will be exploring the KUDOS programme with tutors in a presentation in the theatre followed by time for students to use the programme in the computer rooms. 
The other half of the year group will be given a presentation in the New Gym by freelance footwear designer Jessica Good who will set students a celebrity shoe design project. Students then return to their classrooms to complete their designs 
Timetable Year 9

Year 10 and 11

Year 10 and 11 have been placed into groups of 15 subjects of interest and will remain in a designated classroom for the day. Visiting artists and guest speakers will be arriving to the classrooms and in some cases internal activities will be undertaken alongside this.
Subjects are as follows: Fashion, Photography, Culinary Arts, Creative Technology, Architecture, Cosmetics, Design, Performing Arts, Illustration and Bookbinding, Arts and Crafts, Creative Writing, Event Management, Film, Music/Music Tech and Marketing/Advertising.
